UCon is being worked on. We have someone trying to set things up with the con organizers now and will give specifics as they develop. The convention itself just strted asking for event submissions this week.

For those who dont have the information, it is Nov. 20-22 and their website can be located at:

Matt is there any plan to offer mods in the first two slots? As I recall from looking at last years offerings there were no mods in the Friday morning and afternoon. If it's a question of judge availability some us driving up could help out. Who's working out things with the con staff?

Hi. There were no plans to run morning slots on Fri or afternoon slots on Sun. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

That's okay we're good. More slots would be nice but what we have is good.

Update- The two premiers for Arcanis at U-Con are the following:

As Heaven Bickers, Hell Does Not Rest by Cody Bergman
“And so did Illiir cast the Giants down, forcing them below those they once tried to dominate. Forever more, he did decree, that they would serve those to atone for their sins.”

You are called to Tir Betoq at the behest of the King himself. However, as Tir Betoq literally borders the lands of the Fiendish Expanse, it seems that what he will ask of you is likely to take you into hell itself.

Thief in the Library by Akira Currier and Marc Davignon
The Grand Library of New Althré is possibly the most important and revered center of higher learning on Onara. Each tome and scroll contained within is considered more valuable than gold, and are closely guarded by the librarians. Who is responsible though, when those writings begin to go missing?

Cody what type of character would be best suited to play "Thief in the Library?" In other words the mod means more to what type of character.

An Altherian? An Altherian scholar? The module should be fairly well suited to any type of character.

Thanks Akira. I just want to be sure I don't end up being the proverbial square peg in a round hole. Like my Beltinian won't set foot in Canceri for obvious reasons and my dark-kin Legionnaire will not go to Tir Betoq, that sort of thing. Some mods are just more enjoyable with the right sort of character at the table. That's all I'm saying. :)

Actually now that I think of it I'll probably dust off my Undir elementalist, bard wannabe and play him. He's more likely to be running around down south than any of my other characters at the moment. He's a 1.6 so he should be able to play this. And he's the closest thing I have to a scholar.

This sounds like the perfect mod for a large sized, illiterate Agamassi! Of course, it will need to be renamed "Bull in a China Shop".

*inadvertant tail swipe knocks over another tall bookshelf...librarians cry...."Sssorry"*

Yeah, I suspect that Agamassi would present some unique problems in the Grand Library...I won't lie, I kinda want to GM that table ;)
