    When selecting Primary and Secondary Spell Lists…does this/can this change from Rank to rank? For instance, at Tier 1, can a shaman select Hexes as primary and Necromancy and Elementalism as secondary, and then at Tier 2 have Elementalism as the primary school for that tier, with the other two are secondary?

    I ask, since there is language such as found with the Elementalist Path: “Once the Elementalist path is chosen, you must always choose Elemental as your Hero’s Primary spell casting Tradition.” (p. 281, PHB).

    That is my understanding, yes. Your primary/secondary traditions can change from Tier to Tier, with a few exceptions (such as that path).
