    Regarding removing the Curse of the Oathbreaker that happens when you break a Sarishan oath

    First the oath breaker must find a Tier 3 or higher Sarishan Sorcerer-Priest willing to remove the curse, which is not an easy task. Once convinced, the curse may be removed with a successful casting of Unravel the Thread followed by a successful Remove Curse

    So unless I’m mistaken there is no way for a Sorcerer-Priest to cast remove curse (its a T1 Deity spell), does this mean that you have to get a second priest to remove the curse? or that you cant remove the curse at all?

    inquiring minds want to know!

    Hello Josh,

    Sorry, I’m not following you.

    The requirements for removing the Oathbreaker curse is pretty clear.

    What am I missing?

    the Remove curse spell is not available to Sarishan SPs, its a Deity spell and they don’t get Deity, they get Blood spells instead.

    Josh,

    Please read what you quoted carefully – It does not say that the Tier 3 SP must CAST remove curse. It says that a Tier 3 SP can remove the curse.

    One is a spell, the other is an ability that Tier 3 SP have.

    the second part of the text indicates casting Unravel the Thread and then Remove Curse

    Am I wrong that that is insinuating they need to Cast Remove curse?

    Or are you saying its just an ability that characters that have taken the Path “Sorcerer-Priest of Sarish” are granted?

    Josh,

    I see what you mean.

    Obviously, an error. They Unravel the Thread, thereby removing the curse.

    Given that they can’t cast Remove Curse, it is incorrectly written.
