    Saturday 11/16 Lindsay Elliot and I are running some events at ICON science fiction convention in Iowa city (iowa-icon.com)

    Saturday 9 am-11am
    Legends of Arcanis: Problems in Transit
    “Smuggling is not just a cottage industry, but a national industry.” –Lucius Decimus, Coryani Legionnaire. A merchant’s caravan is two days overdue, and you are tasked with finding out what happened to them. Two-hour intro to the Arcanis RPG system and LoA campaign. Pregens available, rules taught.

    Saturday 11am-1pm
    Legends of Arcanis: Walking on Eggshells
    “The law of unintended consequences pushes us ceaselessly through the years, permitting no pause for perspective.” –Sanknor val’Abebi, Colonel in the Shining Patrol. You are hired for the simple mission of retrieving an ingredient for the creation of blastpowder from the Ssethregoran-infested swamps. Two-hour intro to the Arcanis RPG system and LoA campaign. Pregens available, rules taught.

    Saturday 2pm-6pm
    Legends of Arcanis: So Shall Ye Reap
    The dark Fingers of Ymandragore reach out for a traveling noble son of the Coryani Empire. Can you help the boy escape a life of slavery at the feet of the Sorceror-King? Four-hour adventure in the Arcanis RPG system and LoA campaign. Pregens available, rules taught.

    We could easily arrange for more if there is interest!

    Hmm. Just over 4 hours drive. I think I’ll probably attend…

    I see registration for the con itself. Am I correct that you don’t pre-reg for gaming events? If so, is it possible to reserve a seat with you? I do not want to drive 4 hours each way and not get into games. Have you run games at Icon before? How often do games not go off for lack of players?

    What times on Saturday are your current games scheduled to run? I haven’t actually played any of those yet.

    we do not pre reg for gaming events.

    but if 2 two people show up for a game, the game will run, we can pull in enough people for that to happen, but realize that the events we are running are all intro level events.

    I just wanted to say thanks to Josh and Lindsey (sp?) for organizing and running a fun day of Arcanis.

    Lindsey ran all 3 games today.

    There were 5 players at each of the 2-hour games (Josh, John (one of their regular players), myself, and I think 4 new players between the 2 games).

    So Shall Ye Reap had fewer players but still went off and was a lot of fun.

    Now I’m off to crash after driving home 4.5 hours afterwards…
