Today as I was updating Mr Delbert and figuring out the rest of his advancements, I discovered I was doing tier 2 spells wrong, you only get 2 spells from your primary, not three (like you do in Tier 1), it doesn’t really affect my character, I ended up dropping heretic shield from Delbert, a spell he has cast but has never actually been effective.
So lesson learned, always read the text of the thing you are taking.
