Play smarter, make the players work harder
BBEG options
– Give your Main guy(s) +2 (or 4) to all Defenses
– Give him the benefit of some common spells like benediction (+1 AR or +1 avoidance)
– Have him unravel the thread on crazy spells
– plan ahead and look at weapon tricks and combined weapon tricks
Fate point options
– Fate point to counterspell
– Fate point to leadership the minions back (Boo!)
Minion options
– Add some extra minion casters (Hex casters are fun)
– Spread your minions Out!
– use minions with ranged weapons!
– weapon tricks!
The idea is to challenge your party right up to the brink and then when they are succesful, it will be that much more awesome.
