Another (possibly) stupid question by an Arcanis beginner:
Is the Codex of Heroes an extension of the basic rules in the Arcanis hardcover, or is it a subset for players that don’t want to buy (or read) the full rulebook?
It’s extra material: to play you only need the single main rulebook although as with most other systems the additional books give further character options and background material.
