If I have an emergent soul, how does talent prereqs take effect. I get the impression that if I have a personality that qualifies to take a talent, and one that doesn’t, then I can take the talent, but only use it when the qualifying personality is active? But I don’t see any rules for this.
to use a talent you need to have access (current access) to all its requirements (unless that talent was gained in a way to bypass all requirements… Expert Skill Talent selection for example)
Thus, if you have a talent which requires you to have access to a background granted though Emergent Soul, you only have access to that talent when you are in the right personality.
In essence you can build two “characters” (heck I have two character sheets for one of my characters) with their own background.
