    The Branch of the Aes Colfen is described as an Exceptional Quality wand which is used by worshippers of Saluwe when casting Divine spells. Wands are only useable by Elder, Eldrich and Primal casters, none of which can cast Divine spells.

    Is the Branch useable by Divine casters (ergo making it not actually a wand), or is it a wand (meaning it is useable by Arcane worshippers of Saluwe), or is it just an exception to the rule?

    As a follow-up question, if it IS an exceptional quality wand useable by Divine casters of Saluwe, can it have runes applied like any other wand?

    It says specifically that it is a Wand that can ONLY be used by Divine Casters of Saluwe’, and Tony told me that it was his intention for them to use it as a Divine Wand. It is a very specific exception to the rules.

    And yes, it is treated in every other way as an Exceptional Quality wand, except insofar as it CANNOT be used by anyone EXCEPT Divine Casters of Saluwe’.
