    PG 102 ARPG

Addictive (Optional): As an optional rule the chronicler may apply this Addictive quality. The first time the character imbibes a medication with an Addictive difficulty rating they must perform a Mettle: Perseverance Action Skill Roll or become Addicted to the drug’s effects. If the character fails this Action Skill Roll they must spend a Fate point or gain the Addicted flaw (keyed to that particular substance). Every additional time the character takes a potentially addictive drug in the same week, the chance of becoming addicted increases by one difficulty rating (+5 TN). If the Chronicler is not utilizing the Addictive rules, instead impose a once per day use limit on any item with an Addictive quality.

I think that limiting Addictive drugs to once per adventure would be sufficient.. it limites their use and doesn’t require GMs to look up more and more rules

I’m good with that description, maybe we can develop a cheat sheet for GMs as part of the campaign guide (master index maybe?)
