List of Races of Onara – PARADIGM CONCEPTS

I will preface this list with the fact that there is a lot of questions regarding the most ancient of these, plus those races which were taken from D&D and crowbarred into Arcanis lore. Those races which I’m not sure if they exist any longer (from the 3.5 days) are in parentheses. Additionally, I have been informed that the Raiyar are not entirely canon (despite me writing the mod with them) so they have been removed from the list until someone gives me personally more information about their status.
This list is in order of when their race found its way into Arcanis History. As such, races like the Merucks which were eliminated by the Ssethrics pre-Il’Huan War are listed before the Ibon, who were first introduced in the recent A2: Coming of the Destroyer storyline.
I am also listing–until I am told otherwise–some likely very closely related races, such as Dark-Kin and Humans, as separate races. There is enough similarity to group them, but since I’m listing Celestial Giants separately from other Giants (Frost Giants, Fire Giants, etc) I’ll keep them there and edit as appropriate.

Oh, come on. The Elorii are only responsible for the deaths of 12 of those, and we only know for sure the names of 4 of them (and one of those have come back!)
The only ones we know for sure were exterminated by the Elorii were the il’Huan (have since returned), the Chull, the Bat-like Plecotus, and the “Grimlocks” (which will probably get a new Arcanis name to separate them from the 3.5 beasts). The other 8 apparently weren’t even worth noting, though one might be the Singarthan Trolls which have since turned up in the Lavender Way.

Actually, from Ssethregore 1st Edition, there is some evidence in that the Singarthan’s were one of the 12 which the Elorii genocided (aside from the Il’Huan, Plecotus, Chull, and Grimlocks they’re the only race the Empire of Yahssremore fought against in text). This means that they have at least a 2/12 failure rate, or 16.7%!

Just a question, from memory the Sancho were before the creation of the ellori and not oneof the 12.
Is that correct?

According to Ssethregore 1st Edition, the Issori were killed 9473 BIC (Berfore Imperium Coryan?), the Gar enslaved the year after that (9472 BIC), the Locanth (if still canon) killed off/enslaved in 8520 BIC, the Sansho in 7915 BIC, and the il’Huan in 6202 BIC.
The Elorii were created in 6700 BIC.

Wouldn’t that mean that Issor, Gar, Locanth and Sansho are not part of the 12 races then? As their destruction would pre-date the Elorii, so the Elorii would not have any guilt about the genocide.

Indeed they are NOT of the 12. Only 4 races of the 12 have been listed (see previous posts), and those listed are not them.
