    I am sorry for having to ask this question as I am sure the answer is somewhere on the site, but I cannot find it. When starting a new characters at 1.5, I know a new character cannot play quest arc adventures. Is that defined as ALL of the year one modules, all of the HP, some combination?

    All Arc 1: Crusade! adventures except for the following CANNOT be played:

    SP12 “A Thousand Words” by Anthony Nijssen
    SP13 “Espionage” by Lucas Amodio
    SP14 “In Darkness, Light” by Anthony Nijssen
    SP15 “To Slip the Surly Bonds” by Anthony Nijssen

    Has there been any ruling on volunteer certs? That is, if I GM and earn a volunteer cert, am I prohibited from using a cert from a crusade arc for an advanced start character?

    I know some players who have not played all of the crusade and if I earn a volunteer cert , which I cannot use on my primary character who has already played these adventures, does a volunteer cert have any value?

    If you use the 1.5 Cert for a character, then no you cannot gain a Volunteer cert from the Crusade Arc to level your character.
