My girls dance school are planning to do a trip to the US Around September 2016. I don’t have many details yet on how it will all work or exact dates (planning meeting in on Saturday), but I though it might be an idea to have in the back of my mind any con dates in the US at that time.
I think it will all be based in LA and disneyland, but hopping on a plane may not be out of the question.
I believe GenCon is in late August, but I am not aware of any others.
GenCon is usually early/mid August (August 4-7, 2016). The only con I know of around your timeframe is DragonCon in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend every year (the weekend with the first Monday in September). I have never attended but I know it is a large con that does a bit of everything (not just gaming) – sci-fi/fantasy, comics, even a bit of adult entertainment (at least once that I heard about), etc.
