The following listing uses a set of codes:
W = Wednesday, T = Thursday, F = Friday, S = Saturday, U = Sunday
and
M = Morning (08:00), A = Afternoon (13:00), E = Evening (19:00)The following shows which slots the events are running in. See here for information about 5E Arcanis.
LA – ARG Events
LA-A2-HP11 Night of a Thousand Screams: W-A; T-MAE (2 tables per slot)
LA-A2-HP12 The Chosen: W-E; T-AE; F-M (2 tables per slot)
LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths: Friday Afternoon and Evening (8 tables)
LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades: Saturday Afternoon and Evening (8 tables)LA – 5E Events
LA-Open HP1 or HP2: W-AE (3 tables per slot)
LA-Open HP3 or HP4: T-MA (3 tables per slot)
LA-Open HP5 or HP6: T-E; F-M (3 tables per slot)
LA-Open Any*: S-M; U-M (3 tables per slot)
LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths: Friday Afternoon and Evening (6 tables)
LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades: Saturday Afternoon and Evening (6 tables)* Any released 5E Arcanis adventure that is one round.

Volunteering
Volunteer rewards are:
4 slots: Free badge
8 slots: Free badge and one of: 1/4 hotel room, 2nd Free Badge, vouchers (typically $60)To sign up, send me an email at james.zwiers+origins2016@gmail.com. In the email, please indicate the following:
– Name
– Reward Selection
– Events you are volunteering forI will accept the emails into my assigned slots on a first-received, first-accepted basis. After I go through each batch, I’ll be updating the totals below for remaining slots. Additionally, if a slot fills up, I’ll do my best to help each person find a number of slots to work to get the reward they indicated they would like.
Event Volunteering
All events, aside from LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths and LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades are one-round events; LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades is a two-round event, you must volunteer for both rounds or none.LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths is different. There are both LARP elements and BI elements to this event; I need people to indicate which part(s) they are volunteering for. Each of the two parts is equivalent to a one-round event for the purposes of volunteering.
Judges Required
Codes are as above; the number of occurrences of the time code is judge spaces remaining. Numeral codes are used for the two multi-round events to remind you how many slots equivalent the volunteer space counts as. These counts will be updated every day or two.LA – Combined Event

There is no Arcanis LARP planned for Origins 2016.
Witch Hunter LARPS are run by another group, not PCI.

Henry answered regarding number 2; more information about question one will be released once things are moving closer. That event is still under planning, so I can’t reveal more information about it yet.

If you intend to volunteer and would like to claim a share of a hotel room please step forward sooner rather than later; GAMA needs the information for the bookings soon.

Remaining slots are up to date as of ‘now’.
April 21, 2016 at 3:57 pm #272389AnonymousInactiveIs there a logic to no events Saturday morning? Is it to allow the judge pool to recover? If so, I assume the odds of getting a table of a night of a thousand screams off then as an open table would be frowned upon? Is other open gaming allowed then?
I usually arrive Thursday night, game Friday and Sat (and maybe sun morning) and then leave Sunday. With this schedule, that leaves me with a hole on Saturday morning (which I don’t mind so much), but unable to get one of the premiers (which I do). Any way to fix that?
