    Ok, so here’s something that made it through both editions of the game. Time to suss it out.

    The Basic Prayer Talent has a True Faith requirement of 2.

    However…

    The Greater Prayer Talent either has a True Faith requirement of 3 or 4 depending on if you are looking at the summary or the description.

    The Heroic Prayer Talent either has a True Faith requirement of 4 or 6 likewise.

    So is the advancement scheme 2, 3, 4 or 2, 4, 6?

    I was initially inclined to go with the latter, however is the power scale of Prayer compared to the other modes of sorcery really so fantastically huge to warrant the investment of 40 hero points over the course of play? That’s a minimum of 20 sessions (1 hero point per session) to qualify for Greater Prayer. Meanwhile, the Hermeticist just needs to get her Latin up to 4 and the Animist just needs to survive. So it seems 2, 3, 4 (20 hero points, or 20 sessions to qualify for Heroic) might be more appropriate.

    What’s the official word on this?

    It appears that I missed an artifact of the earlier edition and it was missed by both editing and the Kickstarter backer preview. Thanks for spotting it.
