So I’m curious, what can we expect to see from Witch Hunter for 2017? I’m hoping to get my hands on a GM screen after all.
February 19, 2017 at 6:46 pm #274680AnonymousInactiveI will absolutely have a new GM Screen (same data, different art) for the summer. The Live Action kickstarter is just waiting for us to launch and fund another product first (check out espegenesis.com)
Witch Hunter Live Action is written, edited and the art is in hand. The video is 99% ready and we will be able to deliver the PDF immediately upon funding and the book to North American backers within a month (international might take a couple extra weeks worth of shipping time).
First Nations is written, it needs editing and 6 more pieces of art.
Orders of Solomon is still in the works. I’ve completed the conversion to 2E, but I am creating material for 6 more orders (ones we released for 1E and the new ones created by the WH2E kickstarter, Cities of Mystery and First Nations)
February 20, 2017 at 6:50 pm #274684AnonymousInactiveSounds great, Eric! Can’t wait to see new WH material in circulation. Really longing for new inspiration.
February 24, 2017 at 7:35 am #274688AnonymousInactiveI’m really looking forward to the First Nations book. Is that one getting a KS too? Also can’t wait for the Orders of Solomon book. I’ll have to make my own while we wait!
February 24, 2017 at 12:48 pm #274690AnonymousInactiveEric is WH Live Action the LARP rules? If so cool, I will want to pitch in to the Kickstarter. Are there plans for a LARP at this year’s Origins. With Arcanis doing the one special rather than the LARP/BI that should free up an evening slot for me to play (I hope). I’d still like to get back into Witch Hunter, but all our home play time slots are spoken for with Pathfinder, ARG, and Dark Heresy. So Origins might be my only chance to scratch that itch.
February 25, 2017 at 8:52 pm #274698AnonymousInactiveThere is a WH LARP for Origins, yes. The Live-Action book is a complete rules set with character creation. You can easily convert WH characters from tabletop as well. It is a hope that we will be able to provide WH Organized Play campaign mods that can be run in either format.
First Nations probably won’t have its own KS. It may be a stretch goal on our next WH KS.
March 2, 2017 at 8:40 am #274710AnonymousInactiveFirst Nations being a stretch goal would be interesting. Is Orders of Solomen getting a KS?
March 7, 2017 at 5:49 am #274732AnonymousInactiveI’m not sure if this has ever been asked but, has there ever been thought into WH dice? Maybe as a KS stretch goal, or something to sell on the web page, or hell a KS in its own right (I see plenty of them for dice all the time!)?
I love speciality dice and would love some dice just for this game. Something other than my WoD dice
March 12, 2017 at 9:23 pm #274761AnonymousInactiveI plan on creating WH dice, probably with Q Workshop.
Orders of Solomon may or may not get a Kickstarter, but it will be made and released. It is kind of growing into hard-back tome size, so it may be a nice leatherette cover thing to serve as a companion piece to WH2E
March 13, 2017 at 1:53 am #274765AnonymousInactiveThat all sounds good.
March 14, 2017 at 1:08 am #274773AnonymousInactiveThat would be amazing. I really hope it can be made that way, though either way I’m all in for a hard copy and a PDF:
March 16, 2017 at 5:13 am #274786AnonymousInactiveThe Esper KS has launched which means we’re getting closer to the WH LARP one
April 30, 2017 at 4:44 pm #275121AnonymousInactiveLive Action should be at Origins. We are not going to Kickstart it. We will have it up for sale once our webstore launches and it will be distributed as well.
Later in the year we should have a Kickstarter that will hopefully fund Orders of Solomon (an expanded title), Blessed & the Damned (a very different product than 1E), and Aztec Empire for 2E
June 22, 2017 at 3:49 pm #275593AnonymousInactiveThe editing wasn’t done in time for Origins by the book will be at GenCon. We will also have a GM Screen at GenCon with different art than last year.
First Nations is nearly complete. I need to obtain 4 pieces of art. It includes 2 Cities of Mystery style entries, a treatise on eastern US native tribes, a brand-new WH order and some Native-American specific rule.
