I wanted to get confirmation regarding Sorcerer-Priests of Sarish (I know the class has not been released).
Are Sorcerer-Priests of Sarish hunted by Harvesters?
I remember something being said about this in the original campaign, and I’ve seen one reference on the forum, but could not find a definitive answer.

Thank you for checking. It seems odd that an entire branch of the Mother Church would have to be in hiding from harvesters, and the description from previous editions and books places them as a hybrid of the three forms of magic.

Not just the MC, an entire branch of all religions of the Gods of Men even….

To be clear, this is my personal supposition and in no way official, but I believe as follows: Basically, whether or not a Sorcerer-Priest is targeted or not depends on the individual Harvester’s goals. If the Harvester is looking for arcane slaves/batteries/etc, then he would target the Sorcerer-Priest. If the Harvester is looking for a subject to experiment on, then it would depend on the experiment. If the Harvester is looking for a blood-sack to help fuel the wine-drinkers (the sect that gains magical power by drinking the blood of the gifted) then I’d think that they would pass on the Sorcerer-Priest.
If the majority of Harvester abductions are for the purposes of the wine-drinkers, then it would make sense that the priesthood of Sarish wouldn’t be overly concerned – their abduction would be rare… but even so, that leaves the differently motivated harvesters still interested in the Sorcerer-Priests – so notices would still accrue. Remember that there are many Acolytes, but few proper spell-casters amongst the clergy – hence why magic is relatively rare and expensive in spite of the vast religious organizations of Onara.

Sarish does not have clerics; He only grants power to Sorcerer-Priests. He does have orders of holy champions devoted to Him, but no priesthood. Sorcerer-Priests are arcane casters so they are hunted. However, they can usually rely on the protection of the church as a whole or, in a pinch, demons. Lots of demons.
