As much as I want Merric to be a “good guy” I have worries he’s at the heart of Dar Zhan Vor and is “not a nice man.” We May find out at Origins. Any thoughts on what we might do if he’s as bad as Calemnon….other than lay low if possible.

We don’t know enough about him yet. He has the family name so I want to trust him, but can we?
We are invisible kings. Laying low and being discreet is something that comes naturally.
If you find something out about him, then perhaps we can sit down over a bottle of Savonan red and discuss it.

So far he has only showed up at the First City, asserted control, and went into the palace. I don’t recall him being seen since. Even assuming that he is “the Destroyer” of the prophesy, it doesn’t really say WHAT he destroys. For all we know, an army of Daleks is on their way. They show up with their ray guns and reverbed voices saying “destroy”, and his response is “oh, you want to see destruction? I’ll show you a Destroyer!”
Obviously, what we (as players, not characters) know is that has a kid he had some exreme narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies.
Now, I could be wrong. Maybe I have missed something in the prophecy or story-wise in the mods.
