    Greetings!
I am finally getting my PC together after running some mods over the past two years (just started another monthly game, hopefully I can actually play at Winter Fantasy this year unless they are short on judges, then it will be Origins if I am lucky). I am leaning towards either a Gnome (shocker, right?) or a Dark-kin Warped One.

    Questions:
Are gnomes considered Humans for pre-reqs?
Are the Riders from the Unsealed Lands considered from the Hinterlands, since they are still Yhing Hir?

    Thanks!!

The riders of Himmetah are NOT the same as the Yhing hir, despite a common heritage. They have been isolated for more than 1,000 years.

I would need to review the 5e rules, but what sort of pre-reqs are you looking for? They are human kin and have a lot of the same restriction and allowances for classes (human gods for cleric, Eldritch casting instead of Elder, etc.) but they are not the same per my recollections and have their own list of fans and cannot do’s.

I’m pretty sure Gnomie is asking if they (Gnomes) qualify for Warped One (he played a Gnome warped one way back in the day…). Since humans qualify to become Warped Ones. And the answer unfortunately is no. At least not at this time. But Henry says King Crow is eventually coming back … not impossible that if someone helps the (mostly Undir) lost spirit of war then maybe he’ll make you one of his Warped Ones If/when he regains access to Arcanis.

    Otherwise…need to look elsewhere.

((PS- I still remember ”show me the evil!”))

Correct. However, since dark-kin were listed as a pre-req race, I thought I would check. But dark-kin are humans with a dark taint… Not humans with a dwarven taint. I have plenty of time to get this character fleshed out. I lean towards gnomes because they are, IMO, the least played of the races. Plus if done right, can be very very fun.

Thanks for the input everyone! Cheers!

Props to Gnome players! They are the gift from Illiir that keeps on giving.
