So, I need some clarification here.
Say you’re in a house that has five rooms – that’s considered five areas! Now, say you are fighting someone and opt to RUN! You have a pace of 4. You use a complex action to take off like a bat out of hell. Does that mean you basically run through four rooms before having to stop during your Complex action?

If you don’t close the door behind you, note that Pace: 4 isn’t enough to outrun even a freshly fed Deadhead. [Speed of the Damned; Pace 2 + 3 (Speed: 6) = Pace 5]
Unless its a Super-Z, better choice is probably Move (Simple) 1 Area and close the door (+Trivial to just slam it shut, +Simple or Complex to close and turn the lock).
Classic horror movie trope; run out of the room and barricade the door behind you.

We just had a little bit of a pace issue at the end of the last game. Minor thing but we wanted to make sure. When we take long breaks between the game sessions, sometimes things get lost! It took me an hour to make sure I was using Synergy correctly…

Synergy is always a pain. I have modified my Errata doc since last time you played.
