Hello everyone,
we recently stumbled over the Witch Hunter RPG and started a new campaign.
However some questions came up and we are not sure if we handled things correctly:
Page 188: Distracting Attack. Is a Distracting an attack, meaning if successful you deal damage AND impose a penalty to your opponent or is the only effect in giving your opponent a -1d penalty?
Page 188: Assist Ally. I presume it isn´t an attack, can it be parried by your opponent nevertheless as you make an attack roll?
Page 123: Agile Runner. I can´t find the Avoidance penalty when running. Can someone tell me where it is hidden in the rule book?
Page 134: Hidden Blade. Did I get that right, for the maneuver to work you really have to declare a Distracting attack (which has to be successful) followed by a Feint maneuver?
Cheers

I just wanted to let you know that the IP rights and ownership of Witch Hunter is now held by Alligator Alley Entertainment.
We’re keeping this portion of the forums open temporarily as a courtesy to them.
You may get an answer (although there may still be some Witch Hunter players lurking on here) on their Facebook page.

I enjoyed and am very proud of my work on Witch Hunter. It’s a great game.
Unfortunately, I’m the story guy and not the rules guy, so I can’t answer your questions.
