However, like many things that were created in the 3.5 days, the Broods have been reexamined in both ARG and 5e so they have a slightly different feel. In the 3.5 days, it was basically “Dark-kin bloodline powers”, while now they are the “Black Vals”, purposely bred half-infernal, half-humans that (so far) are uniquely from the Fiendish Expanse (Unsealed Lands). Because of this, the information presented in that book is no longer accurate to the universe, so all of the Broods except for the Brood of Uhxbractit in their 3.5 forms may not reflect their current iterations when they come up in storyline.
