I think the question says it all: Where on the world of Arcanis would you most like stories to be set? What cities/regions would you like to explore? What mysteries would you like to unravel? Do you want to hike into the Lhazurs to explore the origin of the Kio, or possibly delve into the forests of the Southern Continent and test yourself against the Ssethric Empire? Perhaps you want to go diving in the Sea of Lanterns, or ride out into the northern steppes of the Unsealed Lands and hunt the Hunters of the Tarmelan riders?

Also, for simplicity I note ON the world of Arcanis. The two moons are off limits because I think EVERYONE will want to go there ;)

I think that there would be some really cool stories to be told in the Vrain. At minimum there is huge potential there for some dungeon delves.

There are a lot of interesting places. Where I would happily stay is where the campaign is at now. The Blessed Lands is civilization built upon civilization upon civilization going back who knows how many times. You've got the citadel to each of the human gods. There are so many possibilities of discoveries and stories that I'm not sure you'd need to go elsewhere. I expect this area is where the elorii gods were absorbed, true dragons were fought, Unorthodox arrived and the dark moon was first sighted.

To move beyond this the City of Gollems, the Dar Zhan Vor and the lands of the Kino is where I'd pick next.

With a sweep of his hat,

Paul

Honestly I like depth as much or more than I like breadth. In the last campaign I really loved Old Coryan ... but in part that was because of Carnival of Swords that gave us so much background on the city that it gave me (as a judge and player) a tremendous amount of stuff to draw on. ie Versimilitude.

I think the City of Tralia has immense potential as the Northern outpost of Milandesian Civilization. Mil Takara has tremendous potential as the portal to the Hinterhands. Censure has never been given the treatment it deserves.

But if there was ONE area that I think I want to delve deeper into it would currently be Almeric. The set up there involves external and internal problems. Potentially has a rich cast of characters to interact with ... and of course is one bloody mess. All of the cool stuff I know of the 30 years war could be squeezed in there with only a little tweaking ...

There is a reasonable chance that Calemnon is the Destroyer who is coming. (Certainly not a slam dunk, but seems to fit what has been written in Codex of Heroes & the prophesies we've been given). If so then I imagine a great deal of the mystery of Dar Zhan Vor will be lifted.

Having been intimately involved in the little *bleep* being raised by the Emperor, I'm starting to think Barbara should have strangled the little *bleep* when we had the cert in hand...

Hello,

You have no idea how happy I was when you guys decided the fate o the empire. I overheard a couple of you chuckle that you had pulled one over on me, with the "unorthodox" solution that was proposed.

I just smiled inwardly.

And honestly, the story just wrote itself. :-)

Does this mean the moral of this story is that the Nierites really do have the right approach? :P

I have always been so interested in Lost City of the Golems on the original map for campaign. Was it a Myrantian City? Why is it surrounded by the Fellglade, but the forest hasn't been extended right to the ruins? Do the Malfelens currently use it? It excites my imagination. I'd love a small story line there, like the Sand Apophic fortress, or a mega-adventure (like Shadows of a Forsaken Past or Lord of the Pack).

I agree Censure has great potential. Actually I've been looking for some information about it for some time. Perhaps someone could help me.
I've found this reference in my readings but I can't find the actual source. Excerpt from Censure: The City of Thieves by Scott Charlton
