Just putting this here as a catch-all for people to talk about what happened at the con. Just starting it off, does anyone remember the name of the Ssethric Death God (not the Avatar Iahkovah (sp?), but the God)? |

Hello everyone, It was indeed Wantir, Eric. While the Battle Interactive is an exclusive event held at Origins, I don't see any reason why I can't share the narrative I prepared for the BI. Obviously, some of it was modified due to the actions of the players, and wherever possible, I've modified my original script to reflect that, but I 'm sure I missed a few things. Thanks for the text! It is always great to have something written down for all to see! BTW, is it possible to get posted copies of the 4/5 prophecies that were revealed during the LARP? I did record them so if (for some reason) they are lost I can probably transcribe them but ctl-C, ctl-V seems easier to me

The Honorable General ul'Shi Dao, known also as the great and mighty Mountain, claimed verbally that the prophecy he held said that the Tultipetans needed to move to Khitan. The Mountain stood his ground in part, he said, because he was frustrated that no one had reacted to his prior revelation of a prophecy from the Sleeping Emperor. The Mountain wished to see other peoples paying respect to these prophecies, which ultimately come from Larissa, before he would do business with them. The Mountain was also understandably disappointed that no one chose to represent him in the business dealings that evening. It is an interesting coincidence [actually campaign rules] there were no Khitanimen present that evening, and it is a shame that no one from the East chose to represent the honorable general as he worked to help protect everyone from the prophecied Destroyer. |

Since you can't play Khitani characters in the campaign it would have been hard for one to have been in the Larp. So I'm not sure how anyone from the "East" could have been there to help him. My character sided with the Tultipetans because he wanted to help them after the events of last year's BI. I had no reason to help the Mountain since I'm not one of his people. I was surprised also that no one joined his entourage. Had I had a Khitani character I certainly would gone to the aid of my fellow countryman. But after surveying my available choices at the Larp, the Tultipetans were the only ones I felt like helping. |
