Yeah, if you want to get a hotel room/buy tickets to events you will need to buy a badge now and get reimbursed when that goes live. |

If you want a downtown hotel room, you are almost certainly 2.5 days too late (GenCon housing opened on Sunday at noon EST). You can probably still get a hotel out a ways. Then, again the downtown hotels have gotten stupidly expensive ($200+/night (not including tax), $35/night parking, $20/unknown internet, etc). |

I book my hotel room outside of the GenCon housing and haven't had trouble for the last few years. I'm all set for an $85 / night room just on the outer belt. John |
