After look at the staff and thinking it over, you ARE going to need a free hand to cast when using a Rune Staff.. Think about the classic caster type.. hold a staff in one hand and cast.. it also allows you to use a wand in that off hand if you want to access a different wand rune |

well the description describes them as quaterstaves, a 2 handed weapon Pedro you might recall we discussed this and your last note was "I'll errata that in the morning" |

Ok... I was thinking it over.. and I want players to be able to go "All Gandalf".... thus the 3rd paragraph becomes....
