So I see the schedule is 4 days (Mar 3-6th). When will official games start and end? I'm trying to arrange some airfare (I thought about driving but right now Southwest tickets are almost cheaper than gas would be).

This year the Con is being advertised as 4 days, so that's potentially 2-3 more slots, depending upon when folks get in on Thursday.

I have now called the hotel for the second time since the announcement on August 25th that reservations were open. And I have been told for the second time that the hotel block is not yet open.
It would be nice if the hotel knew as much about the block as the forum does.

Are those dates for the Hotel, or the Con? I recall everyone wanting the Thursday night as well in previous years, so is this just planning ahead?

I spoke to the gentleman in charge of booking the rooms and he said it will be early next week before they are in the system and ready to book. So I would call sometime after Tuesday.

UPDATE: The Hotel is set up to receive the con special registration. To make this easier, please call direct to the convention coordinator at 1-773-332-8037 (Leave a message with your phone number if no one answers). The email is jsteward@lakhanihospitality.com. The rate is $82 for a King or 2 Doubles.

Before I book a hotel room, can someone confirm the schedule for the convention? Will there be morning slots on the 3rd (meaning I should aim to arrive the evening of the 2nd), or do the official slots start on the afternoon of the 3rd, morning of the 4th, etc?
