Alright, in seriousness: I have a challenge for everyone, to make this Kickstarter even more awesome.

Please go on other forums and talk about it. Post it on Facebook, share it with friends, get excited about it outside of these forums. ENWorld, RPGnet, RPG Forums Online, The RPG Site, Obsidian Portal.... All of these are wonderful opportunities to bring in new players.

To sweeten the deal: For every 25 backers we get beyond 100 (so 125, 150, 175, etc...), I'll add an IC tease for the Vault of Larissa's Lament. If we get 200+, I'll talk to Henry about possibilities for ArcaniCon 2015 and start teasing those at 200, 300, 400, etc...

I'd like to thank the few people I know who have posted on these forums to get interest up. Each time someone did, the posts got a hundred views or so and we got a couple new backers. And since we reached 125 backers a little while back...

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=451

Next one comes at 150 backers. Let me know what you think. ;)

I think we need more exclusives to get the funding up!

I agree.

Considering how fast the first batch of Agamassi, val'Sosi, etc went on the first night, what about posting a few more of each? Some of them may not make sense to have more (not sure if the "3 bastard daughters" or "last of the pretender line" were arbitrary or if they are encoded in the story somewhere). To bring a little extra money, the new ones could even be a few dollars more than the first batch (I've seen other Kickstarters do this - "a few" being something like $5-10 - I've seen one Kickstarter try $50 more and get negative PR out of it).

In mid-late January, I will likely be able to talk some of my players into pledging but that will almost certainly be something like the $25 tier plus either the hardback or pdf addon.

The problem with just 'opening up' more of the previous ones is that the more of them there are, the less unique they are (and therefore less valuable).

I'm sure Henry and crew have some new pledge levels in the works, but I believe they will be new ones and not just opening up more of what's been posted. They could open up a couple more businesses maybe without much effect on the previous buyers.

I think they are going to wait until after the holidays to introduce new ones that way there's momentum throughout the campaign.

I would definitely encourage all your players to back for at least the PDF.

On a related note, I think more Add-Ons would be welcome also. Dice, Dials, T-Shirts, and Fate Chips are all thing folks have expressed interest in.

I could definitely go for some decent clocks/dials. d12s work but clocks/dials are nicer.

I keep suggesting at least a few more of the previous ones because I was shocked at how few of those addons there were originally. I've never seen any other Kickstarter with single-digit limits on anything short of $1000s at the very top of (usually a long) pledge list. Although, it sounds like PCI has done that before (I wasn't interested in Rotted Capes or Witchhunter).

Of course, it also wouldn't bother me if I wasn't extremely interested in the Agamassi and/or val'Sosi (both of which were completely gone before I even got a chance to look at the KS)...

Well because these are 'in character' rewards for a shared campaign, limiting them is almost required. How many bastard daughters can there really be? :) I think most of it is done to A) Limit the number of players with these characters and B) Ensure that the players who spent the money have something unique.

If these were things for which it made no difference how many people actually had them, the numbers could be larger. For those, they have created add-ons. I wouldn't be discouraged though, as who knows what will happen in the next 5 weeks!
