I think I'm personally good but I do have these ideas:

If you are thinking about new special PCs the how about connections to a Historical personage? Someone descended from the former Coryani Emperor Nurion (who founded the Sanctorum)? Or for Hinterlanders how about a direct descendant from Ni’Hu (who led the great Yhing Hir Host into Milandir during the Barbarian wars)? Or perhaps a connection to less savory characters. Someone could be a child or kin to Heru Bas (crime lord of Old Coryan). In all these cases somebody like you and someone else is ...ah... "less excited" to meet you. Regardless, a lot of people know your name. Since you have allowed in Agamasi I think a player version of a Cyclopse/Eladru would also be cool.

Or instead for existing PC, maybe some benefit that relates to a country, church or secret society. For example for Eldritch casters in the Sanctorum, some kind of special training from the Magisters, and access to learn an exotic spell (perhaps preselected from someone else's spell list, or perhaps its a new spell that comes with the package). For someone from the Emerald Society or the Azure Way access to relics (allowing them to take the Heirloom Feat after character creation). For the lay faithful, perhaps training in a temple that grants access to a select devout talent even if they don't cast divine spells. In Milandir, perhaps you have been Knighted with the White Sash which allows access to the talent Knight's Code without taking any of the various entry knight Paths. You could allow a val'Tensen from Almeric to be a deposed Prince from [town of X], either driven out by their ambitious neighbors or expelled by their grasping & scheming relatives. Such a character might still have the resources to gain the Benefits of Station talent without meeting the requirements. Ditto a Coryani member of the Patrician class (minus a lot of the back story drama of the Almeric version).

My two cents.

Hi Henry

This is more of an add on idea than a pledge idea but what about the possibility of offering a number of Unique Module that people can add on (different from the super unique Module of the pledge level), that 'reveals' a minor secret

The description could be

Revelations of Umor
This scenario will lead the heros into the XXX and reveal some of the back story behind Umor

Revelations of YYY
Blar Blar Blar

You could offer 3 or more of these as add ons at $50 each, which would work out as less than $10 / player for a table
ARs are signed by you, numbered and emailed out so that it is only playable once / purchase
You would not have to write the scenario yourself but rather get one of the talented Arcanis authors to pen the mod and you provide them the secret that is revealed, plus any back story.

You could even run a poll to see what people wanted to know :)

Cheers
Dean /Taffy

How do I add an add-on?

When I change my pledge amount, none of the add-ons are listed. Nor is there a box for filling in the add-ons I want.

What am I missing?

Thanks
Mary

Just add the appropriate money. From what I gather, when you do the questionnaire at the end of the Kickstarter about what you got, as long as what you claim matches the money pledged (and the Backer Tier Kickstarter tells them you bid on), you should be good.

For now, you just select the basic pledge level you want and manually increase the amount by the amount of the addons you want. When the survey is sent out after the Kickstarter ends, you specify which addons you wanted for the extra money you pledged.

Hello Dean,

Thanks for your suggestion, but I'm spreading myself thin already. :-)

Mary,

Cody is correct. See the FAQ at the bottom of the KickStarter page. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or post here.

I know it has already been spoken on at length, but for those of us that weren't able to get involved at the beginning, some of those unique Character Creation boons would allow at least 3-4 local people that I play with around here to pitch in one-two hundred dollars, each.

Right now there are 2 people that can play Undead characters and 4 that can play val'Sosi Ss'ressen's. Would game integrity be that injured by expanding those numbers to say, 6 of each?
In my experience (as a long-time Venture-Captain for PFS) one of those most sought after items are Racial Boons. A person gave $400 to charity just to play a Catfolk and similar amounts were given for other character creation type boons.

I'm not advocating wildly throwing open the gates (in fact, in PFS I am strongly opposed to opening up more character races). I can only speak for myself, but personally, were a few more to be made available, I would be potentially doubling or tripling my pledge and others would probably do the same.

As I understand it, once a pledge level has been created, it cannot be changed. i.e. They cannot just open up more "slots" on those pledge levels....

New pledge levels can be added that are similar, if not the same, should they decide to do that."

Correct.

And I'd love to see some of Beast get some ss'Sosi.
