I think I'm personally good but I do have these ideas:
If you are thinking about new special PCs the how about connections to a Historical personage? Someone descended from the former Coryani Emperor Nurion (who founded the Sanctorum)? Or for Hinterlanders how about a direct descendant from Ni’Hu (who led the great Yhing Hir Host into Milandir during the Barbarian wars)? Or perhaps a connection to less savory characters. Someone could be a child or kin to Heru Bas (crime lord of Old Coryan). In all these cases somebody like you and someone else is ...ah... "less excited" to meet you. Regardless, a lot of people know your name. Since you have allowed in Agamasi I think a player version of a Cyclopse/Eladru would also be cool.
Or instead for existing PC, maybe some benefit that relates to a country, church or secret society. For example for Eldritch casters in the Sanctorum, some kind of special training from the Magisters, and access to learn an exotic spell (perhaps preselected from someone else's spell list, or perhaps its a new spell that comes with the package). For someone from the Emerald Society or the Azure Way access to relics (allowing them to take the Heirloom Feat after character creation). For the lay faithful, perhaps training in a temple that grants access to a select devout talent even if they don't cast divine spells. In Milandir, perhaps you have been Knighted with the White Sash which allows access to the talent Knight's Code without taking any of the various entry knight Paths. You could allow a val'Tensen from Almeric to be a deposed Prince from [town of X], either driven out by their ambitious neighbors or expelled by their grasping & scheming relatives. Such a character might still have the resources to gain the Benefits of Station talent without meeting the requirements. Ditto a Coryani member of the Patrician class (minus a lot of the back story drama of the Almeric version).
My two cents.
