Both of these abilities are too powerful as written. If you recover a single arrow or dagger you can do the whole maneuver again. My recommendation would be to write it something similar to the following:
Effect: Weapon; you may throw a single dagger at each Target within range. At least once per scene as long as you’re armed, regardless of the amount of daggers you currently possess, you always have enough normal daggers to perform this Weapon Trick. If you’ve already used the ability to hit more targets than you have daggers, you may use this ability again selecting targets with the daggers you have remaining.
Darken the Sky should have the same sort of limitation.

Will add to the next errata pass after this one is completed

March 19, 2014 at 9:15 am #259922AnonymousInactiveI’m confused why the re-wording is necessary? For both, you need the right number of daggers/arrows to attack all the eligible targets, except once / scene you can do it cinematically even if you possess only 1.

March 19, 2014 at 2:56 pm #259984AnonymousInactiveI’m of the mind to keep it the same…
at most I’ll add a fate point expenditure to the 1/Scene ability
March 19, 2014 at 3:27 pm #259998AnonymousInactiveSo ‘the same’ is: You can use these abilities as many times as you want but with only as many ‘daggers’ or ‘arrows’ as you currently posses. In addition, you may perform this once / scene as long as you have 1 dagger or arrow?

I strongly dislike needing to use a fate point to use a weapon trick… There’s no such restriction on other tricks.March 19, 2014 at 3:58 pm #260019AnonymousInactiveI’m of the mind to keep it the same…

If I’m wrong, then I agree that the trick should work as written as long as you have enough arrows/daggers to perform it.

If the fate point is ignore ammo, I’m fine with it… That would be a generally acceptable use of a fate point – ‘oh look, I DO have more ammo’March 19, 2014 at 5:38 pm #260045AnonymousInactiveIf the fate point is ignore ammo, I’m fine with it… That would be a generally acceptable use of a fate point – ‘oh look, I DO have more ammo’
Yep.. that’s the idea
Oh look, I forgot I had this backup quiver…
March 19, 2014 at 5:42 pm #260048AnonymousInactivethe entirety of the maneuver is supposed to be cinematic, I think the idea would be to deplete the ammunition for every actual attack made.
all of this fate stuff seems superfluous to me
