October 28, 2014 at 10:45 pm #265095AnonymousInactiveWell I got to wait in my next paycheck Henry, but I can see kicking 90 bucks toward this project. Maybe more but that’s what I can afford for now. Looks really cool too bad I got to wait until 2016, but that’s the breaks.
Good luck with this.October 29, 2014 at 12:13 am #265101drafitParticipantHello,
I put 2016 for the release date given that every single KS I have ever run or backed has been a bit late, I figured I would give some extra room for it to be published.
I’m sure not too many people will complain if it gets sent out early.

BTW – You do know that even if you pledge today, you won’t be charged until December 2nd?
Thank you for your (future) support.
October 29, 2014 at 1:28 am #265102AnonymousInactiveJust to be clear do you need a copy of the CoC 7th ed rules to play this or will the rules be incorporated in the PCI books?
October 29, 2014 at 1:33 am #265103drafitParticipantHello Michael,
We can’t copy the entirety of the rules in C:SA, but small summaries of the basics will be included. However, technically you do need the 7th Edition rules.
October 29, 2014 at 2:08 am #265104AnonymousInactiveThanks for clarifying that. As far as I can tell from a quick web search the actual 7th ed rules are not out yet. There are some quick start rules available on the Chaosium site, but that’s all I could find. It sounds like the rules may be out soon though from a quick read of their message board. Have you heard anything you can comment on Henry?
October 29, 2014 at 2:46 am #265105drafitParticipantHello,
I was a backer of their 7th Edition CoC Kickstarter and have received numerous updates. Among them is one saying saying that the final PDFs would be out in a week or two, with the books following as soon as they arrive from the printer.
So yes, the new rules will be out by the time C:SA is available.
October 29, 2014 at 7:50 pm #265119AnonymousInactiveThanks Henry. I think I’ll see about picking up a print edition of the new rules when they come out.
October 31, 2014 at 4:30 pm #265154drafitParticipantHello everyone,
Update #3 of the Cthulhu: Strange Aeons KS with the outline of the Investigator’s Guide is now up
November 1, 2014 at 12:36 am #265159AnonymousInactiveNot sure if it fits, but as I was reading the book outline I kept thinking that I could take the movie Prometheus and with a few tweaks turn it into a C:SA adventure. I also noticed the reference to Synths, does that mean we can play or have as NPCs “androids” like David from Prometheus, Ashe from Aliens, or Bishop from Alien (hope I got the last two right from memory)? Anyhow this looks like it could be a really cool game.
November 1, 2014 at 3:00 am #265160drafitParticipantThose movies certainly were an inspiration and such characters are possible, should your Keeper wish to use those rules.
November 1, 2014 at 11:26 am #265161AnonymousInactiveSince there’s good chance I will run the game you can bet Synths will be there.
Be interested to see how they are affected by the sanity rules as opposed to normal humans.November 1, 2014 at 4:30 pm #265164AnonymousInactiveHa, just read the flash fiction so I see how they’re affected. And it ain’t pretty
Man I want to play/run this game. I could do this with Eclipse Phase, but the CoC system sounds easier to wrap my head around. Even though I suspect/fear many of the aspects of the Eclipse Phase “future” will come to pass.
November 3, 2014 at 5:11 pm #265173drafitParticipantUpdate #4 with some concept art from the very talented Richard Pace is live for the Cthulhu: Strange Aeons Kickstarter
