A few questions on the Air Rune:
1. Description of the rune if applied to a weapon says it “can only be inscribed on a thrown weapon”. No further clarification on what a “thrown weapon” is, and no further advisement in the errata. I take this to mean weapons that have the “thrown” quality?
2. By extension, a weapon that does not have the “thrown” quality, but can be thrown by other methods, such as Throw the Blade for gladius/broadsword/short sword, would not be candidates for this rune?
3. Does the extended range on exceptional and legendary air runes apply only to basic thrown attacks, or does it also extend the prescribed range of Maneuvers used with that thrown weapon?

Thanks. It seemed like a question that has probably been asked before, but I couldn’t find a way to use the search function in the forums that narrowed the results to <30 pages.
Any ideas re: the range modifier?
September 14, 2015 at 6:23 am #269705AnonymousInactiveI think its in the FAQ/Errata.
The weapon must have the “Thrown” weapon quality (with a range) or be listed under thrown weapons on the table (with a range) to gain a benefit.
