Hello,
Just want a quick headcount of how many players attending Origins 2015 will be playing their Nierite Hero during the Arcanis events?
Thanks in advance!
According to my poll, there are 4 players who claim Nier as the patron of their Primary characters, 4 more as their secondaries, and 1 as their tertiary. There is no guarantee that all these players will be at Origins (I know two will be), but the data may be useful.

I am planning on attending Origins and I will be playing a Nierite. A mid Tier 2 Templar of Nier, Holy Champion of Nier, War Priest of Nier. (Is that enought Nier for you?) He is not only a Nierite, but a support priest for and war leader of Nierites (with Zellot’s Fury and other helpful spells).

OK, that seems like there will be enough of a presence to justify this storyline for the BI.
Sharpen your blades and stoke the flames, brothers and sisters. Should you be successful, there will be a pyre of burnt offerings to Nier not seen since the fall of the Leonydes!
And please be a minimum of Tier 2 before considering joining this expedition. This is going to be a rough one.

If not, no biggie though.April 8, 2015 at 9:38 pm #267205AnonymousInactiveSharpen your blades and stoke the flames, brothers and sisters. Should you be successful, there will be a pyre of burnt offerings to Nier not seen since the fall of the Leonydes!

If not, no biggie though. Not a special mission per se’. I said I was going to try something different with this year’s BI, so this is a part of it.

Of course.

On the other hand she’s not a fanatical worshipper of Nier so she might not go on the mission anyways.
Still I was Tier 2 I would definitely consider it. But I think my buddies are gonna want Haakon at the table to patch them up!

Patch them up? Or give their souls a final blessing on the way to the Cauldron?
April 9, 2015 at 12:13 am #267214AnonymousInactiveWell if it’s their time to go, of course. A proper burial is a must in this game otherwise you wander the material plane as a shade. Which means I have to put on my Exorcist hat and send you off to your final rest.

Cauter Val Virdan – War Priest of NierApril 11, 2015 at 11:21 am #267274AnonymousInactiveRemember as a Beltinian I am versed in multiple funeral rites. A pyre is most appropriate for a Nierite and can be arranged.

Make sure to bring a barrow load of wood for a pyre on the stage.
