Thank you, con organizers! I know these things take a lot of effort to put together.

I’ll try to make it, and I look forward to continuing to re-connect with the Arcanis family. \":-)\"

For those of us with nice long drives in, what time are we looking at for first slot on friday?

I have my room and airline tickets. I’ve never attended ArcaniCon previously. What other costs are there for the convention? What kind of schedule should I expect?

    Assuming similar to previous runs:

Entry to the Con is about US$20, which covers all your basic con stuff. I’m not sure what food is like around O’Hare (previously flown into Midway), but my experience was the Chicago was rather pricey for food.

As for ‘slots’, usually there is a Soft Point on Friday afternoon, another Saturday morning, and then the interactive in the afternoon. We did a double-Soft Point Friday last year because the Interactive took all day (and what a day it was!). Basically, if you can get in Friday Morning or Thursday evening, it is better, and Sunday is more of a ‘open library’ day.

$20.00 sounds dirt cheap. Do we have to pay this to someone in advance, so they’ll know how many players to plan for?

It has always been at the Door, but last year they had a finite number of seats.

As I recall, there was preregistration that you were coming to the convention last year that required information about the character you planned to play in the interactive. That was advertised here and done at another site online. But payment was at the door.

Wasn’t there last year, any idea what this years interactive might be? As of yet I have no Tier 2 characters since play opportunities have been sparse for my primary since Origins.

Damn, I just rechecked my cruise dates and they are 7th-14th. I won’t be able to make ArcaniCon this year afterall.
