“Why are there ruins in an ugly forest? Well, they probably left because the forest was ugly and then couldn’t find it again. Have you tried to find something in a forest? Hey. It’s a tree. And another tree. Go further and look another tree. Where’d we leave that pile of rocks?”

    The Mountain

I think a guy named Bardus has them.

No that particular pile of rocks belongs to a certain underground temple located near Tultipet. \";)\" Either that or they’re in Bardus’ head. \":)\"

Matt(or anyone else in the know) Can you post the convention schedule? I’m looking to schedule some catch up games (and I’m sure others are also) and we want to make sure we dont overlap those games and the convention itself

    Thanks!

Players curious about the special event set in the Shakti Forest may want to take a look at the description of that forest on p. 29 of PCI’s The Theocracy of Canceri book from d20 days. It mentions “weird creatures,” undead, “lizard creatures,” and Milandisian soldiers.

“I’ve read in the journal of Atticus Voucis that a mated pair of Ossarion Sphinxs was spotted migrating there in 1017 I.C. Presumably they were looking for more game … Or new breeding grounds. I suppose it possible that there could be a seasonal migration as well. If you headed that way keep an eye out for one. Would love the opportunity to collect their ivory horns.” – Tukufu

What do you know, Tukufu, about the Ossarion sphinges? Are they as interested in lore and riddles as general legends imply? Can one parley with them? Are they inherently malicious? What’s so special about their ivory horns? Do they ever shed their horns? Would it be moral to kill such a creature for its horn?

I was reading that today. As I recall it said they were “large” creatures which makes me think dinosaurs…which can be real fun to run. I had a blast running dinos in the 2nd Battle of Semar BI. Boatload of hit points with sharp pointy teeth and bad attitudes, no special rules to bog down play. Just sic ’em on the players. Fun times, fun times… \":D\"
