Loving the map – great work!
August 16, 2015 at 10:50 pm #269380AnonymousInactiveSo, out of curiosity, when the books get closer to ship time, will we be able to get you an updated address? I’ve moved since the initial survey was sent, and may end up moving again before the books are ready to ship, depending on job stuff.

August 28, 2015 at 11:54 pm #269502AnonymousInactiveThat is a really gorgeous map Henry, I’m thoroughly impressed. Looking forward to seeing the map of Onara!

August 31, 2015 at 1:15 am #269543AnonymousInactiveFinally got my chance to look it over in some detail. This is one sweet map, Andy deserves much credit. I am curious as to whether there will be additional maps in the book. Obviously not in as much detail but will there be a map of the Blessed Lands itself?

I would expect there to be one in the BL book saying where major landmarks like the occupied Citadels, Tultipet, the First City, and any other major population centre would be. We know that PCI is getting a ‘master’ map made right now, so we will likely see a ‘cut’ portion of that master map if my prediction is correct.

Whereas Cody’s right that the old d20 books tended to include one or more maps, none of the new ARPG products include maps. Someone who buys the Arcanis RPG and Codex of Heroes but has nothing else will have no firm idea what the geographic relationship is between all the nations mentioned in those books. I sincerely hope that situation can be improved soon with a map of at least the Known Lands (if not the whole continent of Onara) in the Blessed Lands book.September 8, 2015 at 11:15 pm #269650frootsnaxParticipantWhereas Cody’s right that the old d20 books tended to include one or more maps, none of the new ARPG products include maps. It won’t show Almeric or the Abessios Dominion, but should be enough to put everything in perspective.
Some general maps would be good. They wouldn’t need to be anywhere to the level of detail of the First City map and they’d do nicely.

For those of us who are already into Arcanis, the maps from the Codex Arcanis are sufficient (even if they are somewhat out-dated politically). However, I’m concerned about new players who are interested in the game world without knowing about the Codex and wind up with no maps. Last I checked, the Codex Arcanis is a $5 download, but one has to know of its existence in order to make use of it.September 11, 2015 at 7:43 am #269683AnonymousInactiveWould it be possible to post a low res version that players/gm’s could at least use to get the general gist of what has been created and where things are for the new players?
September 11, 2015 at 11:11 am #269685AnonymousInactiveIf you Google map of Onara it’s the first image. If you’re seeing what looks to be Italy, that’s not it.

December 20, 2015 at 7:47 am #270629AnonymousInactiveHi all, especially Henry, James and Pedro…
Just a quick question that I was going to post on the kickstarter comments but I believe it to be more prominent in this forum…
The question pertains to the Blessed Lands product and its inclusion in the Legends of Arcanis campaign document. Besides the amazing cartography, storytelling and setting, does the product contain any character obtainable options? If so will the campaign document be updated to reflect this new material at time of release?
I’ve a few old 3.5 Arcanis players wanting to try the new system, though they’re are thinking of waiting for the new book…
By the way, the news on the ETA on the book, we are more than happy to wait till you are happy for its release… We a couple of tables in the UK would rather have you happy with a delayed release than unhappy meeting deadlines.
Thank you again…
Dan
December 20, 2015 at 4:48 pm #270631drafitParticipantHello Dan,
Yes indeed, the book will have a chapter dedicated to new Backgrounds, Paths, Skills, Fighting Styles and Spells. How much depends on how many pages I can squeeze the preceeding four chapters into.
The rough TOC looks like this:
Table of Contents
Chapter One: History of the Blessed Lands
Chapter Two: The Blessed Lands
Chapter Three: The First City
Chapter Four: Personas Dramatis of the First City
Chapter Five: New Rules
Chapter Six: Bestiary
Though again, I may be able to squeeze in more material, depending on page count.
Thank you for your support and patience!
