Henry,
Does this flash of psionic pain that all Val felt qualify as a reason to become active as a psionic?

Should be in spoilers…
June 21, 2016 at 1:05 am #273006AnonymousInactiveSo…I was wondering. Does the Armulis oath transfer upon the death of Scipio? I.e. is like half of the campaign oath bound to follow the new emperor on pain of a horrible death? Or are we all free to go about our business without any strings attached to a scaling defense rune? Never-mind, don’t answer that. I see where this is going to end up…..
June 21, 2016 at 2:47 am #273007AnonymousInactiveQuestion, for us Coryani players, do we know the name of the heir to the Coryani throne? XXX val’Assante’ (or val’Dellenov?)?

It should be Emperor Marcus Arminius val’Assante, eldest son of Scipio and Aconia. Alternatively I guess the younger son could be confirmed as Emperor which would be Quintus Priscus val’Assante.
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul

That was my original plan, but due to a miscommunication (which was my fault entirely), it was not added to the BI cert. Due to that error, non-Awakened Vals will not Spontaneously Awaken unless we can somehow correct said error.

Paul is correct, the next in line in line to the throne is the eldest son of Scipio and Aconia, Marcus Arminius val’Assante’.

Henry, why not simply issue a new cert with the proper language on it, but include in big, bold print something like “This cert is not valid unless attached to the original Origins 2016 BI cert.”
That would let you get what you want and still make sure that people who are not eligible for it could not use it. Post it on this forum and let those who want it print it out and attach it to their original cert.

The issue is not with issuing the cert – that’s relatively simple.
The problem lies in ensuring that everyone at the BI that could be affected by this is contacted and given the upgraded cert.
I don’t feel it fair that someone who spent the time and money to travel to Origins and played the BI, but doesn’t frequent any of the online venues, be left out of getting something others received.
We’re trying to see if there’s a way of getting everyone’s email. If we get a solution to this, I’ll post here. Until then, all non-Awakened Vals just got a doozy of a headache.
June 22, 2016 at 3:55 pm #273039AnonymousInactiveWhile the memories are still fresh, if you GM’d a table at the BI, could you please take note of who was at your table and forward me at bergie_the_great(a)hotmail.com?
For example:
GM: Bob McBadass (Val character)
Player 1: Tony Hardcore (Val)
Player 2: Barbara O’Kickass (Elorii)
etc.I fully understand that such lists likely will be incomplete, but with at least partial records we can figure out who we need to contact (email, facebook, twitter, smoke signals, semaphore, etc) to provide them with the correct information.
June 22, 2016 at 10:09 pm #273050AnonymousInactiveWhat was the name of the alleged destroyer Calmemon refered to?
Thanks!
June 22, 2016 at 10:44 pm #273051AnonymousInactiveHe named “Merric val’Cessari” (spelling subject to correction)
June 23, 2016 at 12:17 am #273053frootsnaxParticipantThe spelling is correct.
But by prophesy so far it seems clear that Calemnon is actually the Destroyer, not this Merric dude.
Let the ambiguity and name calling begin.September 27, 2016 at 12:08 am #273619AnonymousInactive“Two little Paragons fighting in the square,
