    As the players in our witch hunter game are preparing for a journey across the war-torn Palatinate in early winter, there is a bit of bean counting going on (see the simple travel rules thread) and measuring time and distance. They have about a week’s worth of downtime before they set off and the question of earning a bit of money from their individual trades has come up. This is my attempt to codify the effort a bit. This probably isn’t some hard fast rule I would share with my players, but I think it will work well behind the scenes. After all, this really isn’t a focus of the game.

    It doesn’t cover the more interesting prospect of treasure hunting, which is an article for a different day.
