Pedro, the question you answred in regards to empathic link was not the question that was asked or being debated

the original question was :
what happens when caster A who has an active empathic link cast on Monster X, then casts Empathic link on Monster Y.

the question i perceive you answering was:
what happens when caster A casts empathic link on Monster Z, and then casts it again on Monster Z, or alternatively Caster B casts empathic link on monster Z

The answer :

If you recast emphatic link upon a target already under the effect of an emphatic link you simply re-fresh the the spells duration (which is 24 hours)
in all cases, the fresh casting overrides the previous casting, and yes you can switch effects in the case with different effects (Benediction)
note the target must stay within range for the entire duration, if the target leaves your maximum range the spell ends.

Really doesn’t apply to the first question

Here are the options that I see to answer the first question
when caster A casts Empathic link a second time, this time on Monster Y instead of Monster X:
A: the first empathic link just goes away.
B: The second empathic Link fails, because Y is not a valid target (X is the only valid target)
C: empathic link is a dismissable spell and just needs to be explained that its dismissable as a trivial(?) action

This is going to be covered in the new errata which I am posting here tonight.

Emphatic link is gaining (D) and I will clarify that the original casting is overwritten by the newer casting, but only of the new caster has a higher passive casting skill value.
