Hello Folks,
Short notice again, but we’re going to try to get a weekend game together. Let me know if you’re available to play!
What: HP2-05 Vexing Priests
When: Friday January 22nd @ 9pm EST
Where: Roll20GM: Adam Rutherford
Player 1: Akira Currier
Player 2: Steve Wilcoxon
Player 3: Paul Gerwe
Player 4: Nicole Gerwe
Player 5: Patrick Gray
Player 6: ZacAlternate 1: Eddie
Alternate 2:
Alternate 3:January 20, 2016 at 6:35 pm #271029AnonymousInactiveI’m definitely interested in playing as it’s one of the few mods Ss’kethis still needs.
January 20, 2016 at 6:37 pm #271030AnonymousInactiveI don’t suppose there’s a chance of starting even 1 hour earlier? Does Vexing Priests tend to run short or long or should we expect 4 hours? As long as it won’t run over 4 hours, I can do it at 9pm EST but it will be getting late (for me anyway) here by the time we’re done.
January 20, 2016 at 6:47 pm #271031AnonymousInactiveUnfortunately we can’t start earlier. That only gives me an hour to get home from work and make dinner before the game. I’m not sure whether the module normally runs short/long.
January 20, 2016 at 10:22 pm #271033AnonymousInactiveAkira,
Nicole and I should be able to make it. I’m also reaching out to a few of our regulars (Jim, Patrick and Eddie) to see if any of them are up for it. 9 PM is a late start here, so we’ll certainly appreciate efforts to keep it to the 4 hour slot.
For what it’s worth you’re getting Alesia (1.6) and The Mountain (1.7).
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul
January 20, 2016 at 11:46 pm #271034AnonymousInactivePatrick Gray will also be joining us. Meranis is 2.1.
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul

I don’t think anyone wants to be up super late, so we’ll just kill everything and let Beltine sort it out

I’m ok with the plan so long as the everything isn’t us!

January 21, 2016 at 9:36 am #271039PCI_AdminKeymasterI am tentatively interested!
Couple of ?’s: would communication be accomplished with a chat program or by IM? How long abouts does this expect to run?
I’ve got a 1.6 or a 1.4 to offer up.
1.6 is Denevir the Dark Kin ex-Gladiator late of the Shining Patrol. Relative focus is the getting in close and the bashing of things for All The Glory. Likely to boast a bit, may surprise everyone with the odd pontification.
Likes: cities, Larissans, bloody combat, infamy, scandalizing prudes, selling tabards.
Dislikes: judgmental people, formal wear, racists, romanticized gladiatorial culture (sometimes), being told she needs a license to sell tabards.1.4 is D’serrat a Milandesian Val’Mordane Knight Errant. Big armor, big sword, big heart, Code of Honor. Got into the mix during the 5th Crusade of Light and was still saving everyone’s seats by the time the 6th Crusade got back into the action.
Likes: killing Infernals, meddling in sinister plans, places that aren’t the Hinterlands, riding instead of walking, ready access to beer, turbans, children, being addressed as “Dame.”
Dislikes: Canceri, Code of Honor violations, that rosary thingie that tries to hide Neroth under the wielder’s grip, people who trash-talk Neroth, bland food (chili powder is a Crusader’s best friend), ants in her plates, that look Lifewardens give her like they’re either checking her out or trying to set her on fire with sheer indignation.Either case Challenge is likely to happen! Woo.

Hi Zac,
We typically run using Roll20 and Google Hangouts. If you use Chrome the two can be integrated into the same browser window. So there’s voice, video (if desired) and chat available. Not quite as nice as actually sitting at the same table, but vastly better than text only.
As for duration, mods are made to run in 4 hour slots. Given the start time I think several of us will be requesting it be handled in the same way, where if we start running short on time the GM simply expedites it.
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul
January 21, 2016 at 3:59 pm #271041AnonymousInactiveHi Zac,
I put you down as a tentative. If you’d like to play you’re welcome to bring whichever character you’d like, although I will warn you that one of the characters (mine) will be Cancerese…might be fun with your Milandesian
January 21, 2016 at 6:55 pm #271042AnonymousInactiveIf you have the room, put me down as a definite. I cleared tomorrow night’s plans
January 21, 2016 at 7:05 pm #271043AnonymousInactiveHey Guys!
My name is Adam and I will be your GM for Friday’s event.
I wanted to take a moment to say hello, “Hello!”, and to reassure you that I will keep the adventure within the 4 hour time frame. My goal is for everyone to have fun, and to wrap everything up by midnight or shortly thereafter. Paul, you are correct, if it looks like we’re falling behind schedule, I will expedite the adventure as necessary. With that in mind, I feel the need to mention that my knowledge of the rule system is a little rusty, it’s been over a year since I’ve run or played any Arcanis, so I will be relying on Akira for any rules clarifications needed during play, and when in doubt, I will err on the side of you, the players. I have no interest in getting bogged down by rules arguments. That said, I’m looking forward to running for all of you this Friday. See you all tomorrow night.
I don’t have a sig set up yet,
Adam
January 21, 2016 at 7:12 pm #271044AnonymousInactiveHello Adam,
Thank for running for GM’ing tomorrow. Just to clear the air (and this time there is complete truth behind the following statement): Talendos, honestly, truly, didn’t do it this time (Paul, not a WORD from you!
).
January 21, 2016 at 7:31 pm #271045AnonymousInactiveAdam,
Thanks for running. I’m sure the rules will run smoothly and that any questions will get resolved quickly. Is there anything you need from us in advance?

Eddie, fortunately for you Vincens won’t be present. He wouldn’t buy that you’re not responsible, though depending on what it was he may or may not have been involved and may or may not provide alibis as needed.

The Mountain will be present and if you have a lot of difficulty convincing him of something, it’s probably because you’re using too big of words.
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul
