This Talent, given by the Bard Path, only applies to “Control” Tradition for Arcane Casters. It applies to Benedictions and Wards Traditions for Divine Casters.
– Proposed Change: Allow this Talent to be used with the “Illusion” or “Hex” Tradition. Right now, this Path/Talent is only useful for Elder Casters or Psionics. In order to not artificially limit the Bard Path to Val or Elorii, it makes sense to allow the use of this Talent for Illusion (Eldritch) and Hex (Shaman) casters so that they can be Bards as well. This makes sense mechanically: Each of those traditions is mutually exclusive (No type of Arcane casters will be able to ‘double up’ on the amount of spells). It also makes sense thematically, since there are savage skalds/bards that would be amongst the shamanistic nations and the eldritch casters are a traditional form of spell-casting bard.
