For weapons that can be used via multiple skills (dagger = balanced/thrown, light spear = pole arm/thrown, katar = unarmed/balanced, etc), do you gain the Weapon Tricks when you have either weapon skill at 3xTier ranks or do you have to have a particular skill at that level?
For the melee/thrown ones, most of the Tricks are melee-based so that might make sense but, for the multiple melee ones (katar and a few others iirc), it would seem like either skill should work.

The Katar can use either Balanced or Unarmed, as it has the Adaptable Style Trait which is defined as:
Weapons with this quality may be used with the listed alternate combat skill. Ranks in this alternate skill may be used to qualify for weapon tricks.
