So I decided I needed a GM Screen for my game tomorrow night. I couldn’t find one of the blank ones to insert pages into around my local area, so using the GM Screen by Harliquinn I made the following. Using cardboard and tape.

January 10, 2014 at 9:19 pm #255023AnonymousInactiveThat is very cool. I just picked up the Savage Worlds Custom GM Screen. It is land scape and all the panels have insertable pockets on both sides. Perfect for those GM screen inserts John created and artwork or Player cheatsheets on the other side.

That’s what I have and why I made them landscape (And I like landscape better for those).

Do you have a softcopy of Jeff’s handout?

February 10, 2014 at 6:13 pm #256516AnonymousInactiveSo I went to our game on Saturday and look what one of my players had made for me.
February 10, 2014 at 7:43 pm #256522AnonymousInactiveHere is my latest idea. I am going to build a clock, and use glass stones for counters. Each player will get a different color stone. They will get three total: 1 for speed, 1 for strain, 1 for recovery. There will be numbered ones for NPCs all a different color from the players. I may make a set for big named NPCs, but not sure. Have to figure my colors out first. Here is a picture of the idea.
February 10, 2014 at 8:12 pm #256523AnonymousInactiveTo help avoid making mistakes on a potentially very full clock I have taken to using the same mini on the master clock as I use on the battlemat, that way there is no confusion when trying to keep the action fast and interesting. I will put a d12 (or 2) next to the mini to track strain and recovery.
The biggest problem here is having enough of the appropriate minis, especially when dealing with groups of minions, so I had to go buy a whole pile of new minis in groups of at least 7 (1 for clock, 6 for mat), but we’re pretty set now.

February 10, 2014 at 8:39 pm #256525AnonymousInactiveI must be one of the few that write down or use NPC clocks to track my NPC’s in combat.

I do this too. The few the proud.
I use a d12 for my master clock and a scribble sheet to track my NPCs.February 10, 2014 at 9:38 pm #256529AnonymousInactiveI must be one of the few that write down or use NPC clocks to track my NPC’s in combat.

I like to let my players see when the NPCs go, the goal for the NPCs on the mat is to use the stones there as well, and for minnions in a group the stones will read 1a, 1b and so on.
