Allow me to introduce myself. I am Master Kelb’Bakari Masalio, Gentleman Archaeologist and representative of the Emerald Society. I am excited by our prospects in the coming months regarding dig sites and deals made with other organizations. We must always be vigilant though for those who would work against us and ensure that we succeed in whatever we endeavor to pursue!

Greetings to you all good Dames and Sires,

I am the son of her grace Lady Ziara Neya Tavu, Baronets of Flugbahnwald, commander in the sky nights quartermasters division (retired), my name if needed is Krzystof, my title is Knight Commander of the Woods, I am currently questing to earn permission to court and hopefully marry Maiden Arianne Nussbaum of Lustia, priestess of Saluwe. I hope that the road finds all of you well, and if you need a hand or advise, please feel free to ask.

    So quiet in here.

Maybe we’re all out in the field digging holes or searching through Libraries? Or have our ranks been depleted through the foul play of the Azure Way and the Jial of the Phoenix? All together too quiet!

I am, of course Tukufu val Holryn, Ambassador of Altheria. Scholar, Sage, former Irregular under Count Felix etc etc.

How many of us are reporting for Arcaniscon? I here what takes place there will be especially important for the ES.

I’ve been tasked with a sensitive and urgent tasks by the Society leadership. I hope that my efforts will not go unnoticed. I do wish we had more action, perhaps we can share a bit about ourselves and how we serve the Green?

As you know, I’m Kelb’Bakari, Altherian Corsair, Gentleman Archaeologist, and Wandering Poet. I serve mainly in the capacity of uncovering ancient secrets. I’ve grown quite skilled at spotting traps, deadfalls, and other dangerous areas and adept at bypassing them. I do hope that our time in the First City provides us a multitude of opportunities to explore forgotten ruins, abandoned fortresses, and dangerous dungeons in our quest for knowledge!

…snip…I do wish we had more action, perhaps we can share a bit about ourselves and how we serve the Green?

I am Tukufu val’Holryn. Self described Ambassador of Altheria. I’ve written quite a bit about myself and left it in open letters over in the Cross Road Tavern. People are welcome to look there in my first letter for the story of my life. I’ve made investments into the research and knowledge side of the Emerald Society equation, and I tout my knowledge as a sage. You could do worse than coming to me with your history questions. Still… like master Kelb I really specialize in the acquisition side of things.

I can honestly say that I am a master Sword Sage…with the mastery of the arcanum and weaponry (the flintlock and the side sword) that implies. Clairvoyance allows me to see things from a distance and I have a knack for Advantageous Positioning. I am not especially strong but I train hard at Athletics and a little Acrobatics to compensate. Even with clairvoyance I don’t really have a magical third eye, but I am well trained in the art of observation. And in Larceny. I’ve honed both while tomb raiding. Finally I work hard to make sure I am well versed in etiquette and rhetoric.

I’ve come to appreciate that context is everything. Learn as much as you can. Think on your feet. Serve the sentiment behind the written orders rather than the actual letters on paper themselves.

I am sorry for not checking in sooner my friends, however my courtship of Maiden Arianne has been consuming much of my time. I know I will be in the area when the hunt for Larissa’s vault is going on, however, as much as I love going exploring, being a public face for the Society, I may have to let you have the honors of finding the Tear itself. But trust me, even if someone else does find it, we will find a way to control it my friends.

    Krzystof Tavu.

((I am GM/support desk for all of arcaniscon, not sure what tony has plotted for me yet))

I too will sadly not be joining my compatriots and rivals in exploring the ruins. The Emerald Society has asked for my help in piecing together the map remnants that are available so that those parties entering will be better able to coordinate their efforts. I do agree that the Society will benefit regardless!

((Turns out I’ll be helping with maps and GMing as well. It was rather ironic that Kelb has to miss the BI/Delve that he was ‘built’ for \":)\")

Well Dammit! Where the hell are the rest of our agents for Arcaniscon, Altherian or otherwise??? Surely I can’t be the only one supporting the center pole for our Emerald tent.

Do we need to do some sort of recruitment drive?!? *IS* there an effective way to do a recruitment drive?

Well we can at the larp, put up a recruitment poster, also ask for donations. I think tony would get a kick out of that.

Umm, umm, are you those fellows that like looking for relics and knowledge? I am Vincent. I am still finishing my studies here in Tralia. I would like to join your organization when I am allowed to leave the libraries. I know there are going many great artifacts found in the blessed lands and I can’t wait to go there. What do you all think? (Before is a shorter Ss’ressen, his scales are all white with streaks of black scales running all over. He has silver eyes and wears spectacles. He is dressed in scholarly robes with what looks like ss’ressen scale armor underneath, with a shield strapped on his back, and bastard sword sheathed on his hip. He has a belt that holds scrolls and a backpack that looks like there are papers and books shoved in it with no order.)(This is all suspect but I wanted to get things started early)

    Greetings Vincent,

I stay out in the field looking for treasures and one walks in the front door! You know 500 years from now they’re still going to be talking about your progenitor Ven. And maybe you and your brothers as well. I imagine many people will be interested in meeting you. A great many people.

Well. I’m Tukufu. Maybe you have heard of me. Picks and shovels on the right. Crowbars under that crate. Try not to get caught breaking too many laws…. Ha, that’s a joke. Mostly. Or are you are on the research and analysis side? I do a fair bit of that too. Master Kelb is a superior cartographer, he can get you settled in as far as inks paper and what not. I just tend to scribble on anything available.

    Welcome aboard!

Greetings and wisdom to ye! You’ve manage to come at a busy time. As Tukufu said, I’m Master Kelb’Bakari, Gentleman Archaeologist and Wandering Troubadour. We can use all the help we can get. I’m heading back to the First City this week and if you’re headed that way, you’re welcome to travel with me…assuming being seen with a dark-kin isn’t beneath you.

No, no, no. No one is beneath me, as we can all learn much from each other. At least that is what professor Arnous taught me.

I hope I can give aid to you all in the First City. I, like the Ambasador, am becoming a master sword sage. My specialty is in history but I am hoping one day to become focused in ssetheric lore. I think the First City should give me much insight on this subject.

I am glad to have visited the Isle of tears with you Tukufu. I am overjoyed we helped save the world but saddened by what “had” to be done in the process. I am excited to know what the Sanctorum may learn from the Oculus. I hope we are not spied on by to many eyes now.(shudders slightly)

I am happy to be going back to the First City in fact because I came very close to dieing in the Tultipetian raid. I guess the Malfelans really hate me. I owe my life to an Elorii lady that almost sacrifed her life to save mine.

Tukufu, if you would like, Scaly(my sc’math) can probably haul some of that archeological gear for you he is pretty strong. Although, we really don’t want to go back to any fridged places if we can help it. Our tails almost froze off up there in Tultipet.
Well, before I go on to long, I am glad I was able to meet you both and hopefully one day you may be able to have the pleasure of reading the book I am scribing of my adventures. To future adventures!!!!

    The pleasure was mine.

As an Altherian I find the idea of using a lizard as a beast of burden unusual to say the least. But if it doesn’t bite I’ll be happy to try. Everything once, right?

I have sincere hopes that we are free from the attention of the major powers of Loshnek and Gemmalus. Even as I fear that the real power of the Occulus has nothing to do with spying. I also fear we are not done with tribulations for the people of the First City. “The salvation of one people comes at the expense of another” … That stanza is only half way through the prophesies that are floating around. And the Dedtroyer has yet to materialize from the West.
