    Some people REALLY want to create things, Some people REALLY want to own businesses and land and special ponies and what not and who-for.

    What would make your character complete, and importantly How much do you think it should cost?

    Ball parking some numbers ( From ARPG ):

    Renting a Exceptional Apartment for 1 week = 5GC
    (Good Quality) Heavy Warhorse = 20GC

    Keelboat = 500Gc
    (12m sailboat)

    Warship = 10000Gc

    Exceptional Slave = 100 GC

    Delbert, would probably retire happily on a couple thousand acre farm in milandir, with a reasonably defendable manor home/ small keep.

    my bets on the pricetag for the small keep 10-20,000 GC and if the farmland had sharecroppers or peasants on it already a similar amount.

    But Delbert is really bucking for making a name for himself via acts of outstanding valor and promoted to some position for the crown that has those things associated

    Well while we are shooting for the moon …

    Eisener would like to become a great captain/general of his own army. Roughly legion strength of 1,000 men.

    Guestimate: 15 gc each to kit everyone out in heavy armor, a couple of weapons, military kit, plus associated wagons and draft animals to handle logistics. Cost 15,000 gc

    Guestimate: for a serious headquarters to centrally control the logistics and deployment + train officers. Cost 10,000 gc

    Guestimate for land to drill on: ? Enough marginal farmland somewhere might go for less than 1,000 gc. Not really sure.

    Monthly budget for salaries of a 1sc per day: at least 300 gc a month.

    Total Base cost: 26k ish. Yearly operational costs: 3.6K ish. Ball park guesses.
