    An abbot’s old hunting dog? Why couldn’t they be one in the same? According to the story, consecrated ground was no obstacle for it. And once unearthed from the grave, what’s to stop it from resuming its old tricks.

    But enough speculation. Someone get to stating up this monstrosity!
