The Advanced Armor Training feat potentially allows you to add 3 to your AC for Medium Armors rather than the usual limit 2 (assuming you have a Dex of at least 16).
How does this interact with the Kio Hauberk that already is AC 15 + Dex (to max of 3)? would this talent change the Kio Hauberk to 15 + Dex (to max of 4)? Or would a Kio fighter looking to stay in medium armor while increasing his AC through this feat be out of luck?
Correct, the Kio Hauberk basically gives you the effect of the feat for free… if you possess advanced medium armor training you don’t gain any binus when wearing a Kio Hauberk
