if you take 1 rank in Literacy you are fully illiterate in all the languages you know… keeping it simple.
What he meant to say was:
If you take 1 rank in Literacy you are fully literate in all the languages you know (that have a written component)…

January 5, 2015 at 6:08 am #265601AnonymousInactiveGreetings everyone!
before I dig into the questions below, just a heads up.. we will be adding this to the errata document and putting out an updated version before the end of the week.
1. Great & light trident – Thrown qualities and range increment? (viewtopic.php?f=58&t=1223&start=0)
1) the Great Trident should have Thrown (20′)
2) Should be Mighty Throw
Any other questions?
Yes. What about the Light Trident? I’m guessing it also should have the Thrown quality. Is it also 20′?
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul

January 7, 2015 at 3:40 am #265615AnonymousInactiveAm posting in regards to the “Concentrated Rage” post. There doesn’t seem to be a way to acquire this martial technique and the only places that mentions it is the “Rage Within” fighting style. Was there a typo in the tier 1 entry or is there another way of acquiring this technique?

Should be the same as a spear, thrown (30′)

3. Elemental sources – used up and can runes be used? (viewtopic.php?f=58&t=1145)
You answered the are they used up part, but not whether runes can be used. Does a fire rune for example count as a source of fire for spells?

(ref Eric’s post here)
Also, on p19 in the eratta for Path of the Stars, I assume you meant [Devout] talent rather than [Divine]?
Thanks!

yes they can, if the rune is activated (creating fire) then the elemental source requirement is meet

January 7, 2015 at 8:11 pm #265627drafitParticipantHello,

To be clear, the rune is NOT the source of the the element, but rather the effect of the rune creating the source.
Example, having a sword with a Rune of Fire in and of itself will NOT act as a source for a fire spell.
Activating the rune, ignites the sword and creates a flame which can then be used as a source.
January 7, 2015 at 8:20 pm #265628AnonymousInactiveThanks Henry. It’s the way I would expect it to work, but the clarification I’m sure will help someone.
Along those lines if a spell states that the source of an element is consumed, is it correct to assume that the rune is destroyed or would it simply need to be reactivated?
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul
