In terms of what’s been released vs. what’s been promised I think they met what they promised. I believe that it was for Battle Interactives not for every special event. Henry and the rest of the PCI staff have been very responsive to player input, more so I expect than many campaign staffs. They always try to make sure that the PCs really have an impact on the world. They also need to make sure they can keep doing so financially. Some experiments have gone well, some haven’t. Different stories engage different people.

I believe that as long as questions and feedback are provided in a constructive and respectful manner, those voices will be listened to – be they con-goers or folks that play at home.

At this point I would not expect any past special event not yet released to be released. If they are in the future, bonus. If not, there’s still more story coming and I’m curious to see where it goes.

With a sweep of his hat,

    Paul

Yes, it was for BIs – not for special events (Delve or Vault (if Vault hadn’t been after the cutoff for home release anyway)). My understanding was that they used to run BIs at GenCon sometimes – iirc, the last one run there was the one that is unreleased. I think there was another BI that had some sort of major issues with home release (maybe this was the same as the GenCon one – I’m not sure – there was mention of it/them in a thread but I think it was on the old forums).

At this point, I think it’s unlikely we’ll ever see those 1-2 BIs released for home play since it’s been so long but I keep hoping…

    Hello Steven,

I’m getting old and the memory isn’t what it used to be, but I don’t think we promised the release of that last Gen Con BI – the Crusade epilogue one. That was when we were told by many players they wouldn’t be attending if they could play the event later at home and we decided to not offer that one for home play.

As for our Australian friends, I wouldn’t mind letting you run the BI (given that your attendance isn’t predicated on whether its an exclusive event, but on distance) but I was told that you weren’t seating more than a table or two at most and that just doesn’t make for a fun BI without some major editing. If this has changed, please let me know.

    Hi Henry

Yep, I need to build up the player base a bit more before I can run BIs down here.

My eldest daughter, Grace (the one born during the 3.5 campaign) played her first game on Saturday (Not my Daughter ironically), but I think breeding up the numbers may be a bit of an unviable strategy \":)\"

    Night of a thousand screams.

That sounds like a nice quiet walk in the park. Nothing to be concerned about. In fact I would not be surprised if it a story mod about kittens. – NOT

I actually assumed that it meant that Henry was going to introduce that Heavy Metal music was catching on among the Elorii of Seremas.

And you thought mohawk hair styles were only common among the Ibon. . .
